Industrial design plays a vital role in shaping the functionality, usability, and aesthetic appeal of medical products. With the aim of improving patient outcomes and healthcare experiences, the Convex team collaborates with medical professionals, specialist engineers, and manufacturers to create innovative and user-centric solutions.
Well familiar with the constrains and challenges of tough regulation, the Convex team will also address aspects such as material selection, durability, and cleanability of the product. Our design will take into account infection control measures and stringent regulatory requirements. Our team will strive to create products that are easy to clean, resistant to contamination, and compatible with sterilization processes, thus promoting patient safety, all the while maintaining design quality and appearance.
As a free-flight model airplane enthusiastic along his full childhood, this is the main course of business Nimrod established Convex around. RC planes followed while later in the 90s’ he served as a UAV technician in the IDF.
Since 2004, Nimrod has been involved in numerous aviation development projects, some experimental with smaller companies and some mass produced with the larger local industries. Aviation design is a type of art, combining aerodynamics, complex composite structures, lightweight solutions and challenges, all of which eventually made aesthetically and user friendly as much as possible.
Lightweight UAVs and drones (up to 150kg) fill our hands with innovative work up till this day. We are very well familiar and oriented with our aerial platform designs. Let’s take-off together!

For many projects and products, various experiments and tests need to be carried out along development. Not only do we understand this, be we encourage our customers to perform risk mitigation and time saving tests and experimental stages in order to reach a finalized mature product ant the end of the day.
